Electric Street Car Stops at Bolton
Circa 1910 - 1949
Bolton Community Residents caught the Electric Streetcar at the
bottom of this walkway and staircase to ride to work in Downtown Atlanta and
to other places like West Fulton High School. The #19 River Street Car’s final run from
Underground Atlanta to the Chattahoochee River was made on April 10, 1949 when
Georgia Powe completed the City’s conversion to Trackless Trolleys.
